So I just recently traveled to Budapest, Hungary and I fell in love with the city. It has so much to offer, like their thermal baths, ruin pubs, and delicious food.
Bath Houses
I tried Rudas, Gellert, and Széchenyi. I would recommend visiting Rudas at night on Friday or Saturday because it closes at 4am. However, if you can't go during those times I'd recommend Gellert because Széchenyi is way too busy and everyone just goes there to get a good IG pic.
Hostel
I ended up staying at Hostel One. There were tons of opportunities to meet friends and there are free dinners every night (HUGE bonus). You can also check out Retox Party Hostel, my friend said he had a great experience.
Night Life
Budapest had some of the coolest clubs that I've ever experienced. They are called ruin pubs and are made up of multiple venues and rooms, so you'll have a great time exploring all the hidden rooms at each pub. I would recommend visiting Instant foresure and Szimpla.
Sights
Definitely visit the parliament building, the shoes on Danube River and hike up to see the panoramic view at Fisherman's Bastion.
