Developing the balance between a high-drive working dog and a calm, quite dog is a never-ending challenge. We want to create a dog that has a solid on/off switch between the two. In this video, you will see Leerburg instructor, Jim Closson, working with a lab to develop a calm, quite dog in the duck blind. Jim has taken the training methods and ideology used in our high level sport dogs and applied the same techniques to hunting dogs.
