Nicola Beckford of BBC Look East covers the launch of the #CambsNotspotter initiative by Cambridge Ahead which is aimed at helping make Cambridge a hyper-connected city. The campaign empowers citizens and businesses to identify so-called mobile and wi-fi 'notspots' and report them. This is done via the Open Signal app which is free to download for Android and iPhone users. The third step by which users can help is by testing their broadband at work or home. Again this is reported back automatically and the data generated will help providers improve connectivity in these three channels. Various short interviews including one with Faye Holland, leader of the CA Connectivity Project group. For more information visit www.cambridgeahead.co.uk/cambsnotspotter
