THANK YOU SOUTH AFRICA

early november this year i went back to south africa to play. it had been 5 years since i was there, mostly on account of the pandemic. i finally got to play in Soweto, and we had a sold out show. it’s such an amazing experience to play there. people know my songs and sing along, dance, and get out of hand. here’s a little video featuring the audiences at Smokevile (Soweto) and Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens (Roodeport/Johannesburg), singing Out of the Blue, Little Secrets, and The Hammer (the version David Rudder sang on my album was a hit there). a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those people, and to my band - Louis Mhlanga, Khaya Mahlangu, Thomas Dyani, Paul Hamner, Denny Lalouette, Pete Sklair, Rob Watson - and Kevin Stuart, my agent and buddy, who shot the videos.
