Our male dancers don't often get the chance to work with matador capes! Choreographer & Artistic Director Devon Carney says "it's a whole technique unto itself to manipulate them properly and musically at a fast pace. This takes a lot of practice to get it right! The Spanish fan technique for the ballerinas also takes a lot of time to get to a point where it is being done like it is an extension of the hand."
