A deputy headteacher at Chemoe primary school in Bartabwa ward, Baringo North was last night shot dead by suspected bandits. The incident comes just five days after bandits killed five people in two separate attacks in Chemoe and Ng'aratuko within Baringo North. According to a statement recorded by the relatives, the deceased left the school premises at 10 pm, and on his way home, he encountered armed bandits who shot him in the chest.
