Keep your first gen 1.4 GM turbo, intercooler pipes, intercooler, throttle body, and more clean and oil free and keep your engine from losing power and MPG fuel economy over time by installing an oil catch can! All you need is some strong 5/8 inch inside diameter tubing, some zip ties, and an oil catch can of your choosing. I decided to use a cheap eBay one. Seems to be working for now. Not sure if it will be the same vacuum routing and location for a second gen engine. This 2012 Chev Cruze is a 2LT trim with between 76 and 77k miles. I wish I would have installed this when I got the car July 2014 with only 26k miles because now my entire intake tract has tons and tons of oil! Tomorrow I will be installing a ZZP intercooler and pipes, so I can start off with clean parts again and keep them clean from now on and have more airflow and better cooling, plus one of my intercooler pipes was already broken. I will most likely also clean my turbo and throttle body tomorrow of any oil that I see inside of them. Later in the future I will do an update video to show whether or not everything stays clean and oil free. Let's hope so! Soon I will post videos of the factory intercooler removal and ZZP intercooler install!
