Sajjangarh - The Monsoon Palace is one of the most famous places to visit in Udaipur City, in the Rajasthan State of India. Originally built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884, this palace was used to watch monsoon clouds over the city of Udaipur.
Sajjangarh Palace is located atop the Aravalli hills and is a 5 kilometer drive from its main gate. It is surrounded by dense forests. The road to the monsoon palace is very steep at times and extreme caution is advised while driving (try avoid going if it's raining)

I reached Sajjangarh Palace after about 2 PM because I had visited Badi Lake before this. You can watch the beautiful sunset from this place which is equally breathtaking. It's quite easy to reach Sajjangarh Palace from the main city via taxi or easily rent a bike anywhere for a day. The entry ticket is Rs. 90/- and professional cameras need a seperate video ticket. There are plenty of amenities available at the top including a restaurent if you choose to have some snacks.
