New to the FX Maverick? Learn how to adjust both FX AMP regulators accurately, and how to not damage the FX Airguns AMP regulators in the process.
It is very important to not unscrew the AMP regulator adjustment screws too far out of either regulator, or you will cause them to blow their top O-ring and leak. It is not a fun O-ring to replace, as it is very small and hard material (2mmx1mm NBR 90).

To summarize the video, you have to use the rear (regulator) gauge in order to read the pressures of both the first and second regulators. The regulator gauge is naturally reading the second regulator pressure. In order for the regulator gauge to read the pressure on the first regulator, you need to open the second regulator until the pressure setting is higher than the first regulator. The easiest way to ensure this is by fully opening the second regulator, which means bringing the adjustment screw up until flush with the top on the housing. There will be about 1 thread visible at most. Then, once you have your first regulator adjusted where you wish, you need to degas the rifle, turn the second regulator screw almost all the way down (all the way down, then come up one full turn). Then, re-gas the rifle, and bring the second regulator up to where you wish to set it.
It is not necessary to degas the rifle in order to adjust the regulators down, but the gauge will not respond to the decreasing adjustments, and it is better for the air rifle to be degassed when decreasing pressures.
