Guild Wars 2 surprised the hell out of me after completing 2 of the expansion packs and base game. I've always said that the PVP in this game was the best out there, but I did not expect the freedom....

Actually you can start pvp in gw2 at lvl 2 (usually the level a player is act right after the introductory instance that is immediately after character creation), most people use it as a way to test the different classes and see which one they truly want to stick with before going through the leveling process, since going into the pvp lobby levels you up to 80 and gives access to everything (skills, traits, gear, etc.) the class you picked during character creation has access to at level 80.

Probably not the first to point this out but Ill cover the 1, 2, 3 of it.
Fractal 'gear' isn't a thing.
Ascended gear can be gained in fractals AND used outside them. It is also the gear type with an extra item slot used for an upgrade item specific to fractals. That being agony resistance.
There are 100 fractal levels, each dealing more agony damage, countered by agony resistance slotted in ascended gear. Again, while the agony resist stat is fractal specific, the gear itself can be used(and also obtained) outside fractals.
Additionally, Ascended gear is the best gear in GW2 stat wise. Having the same slots/stat values as Legendary gear. Legendary offers utility such as free trasnmog, stat swaps and being worn on multiple characters at the same time.

I say this as a “new”(like a little over 100 hours)player who wouldn’t know what little I do know if it wasn’t for the various gw2 content creators. The achievements section in the adventure guide needs to be made to clearly convey that these are more like quests than achievements.
I don’t really go out of my way too far for what I would normally think of when I imagine the idea of achievements. But that tab is basically a gigantic quest journal. Idk what I’m trying to say here or really do in game but digging into those achievements has at least given me a map and compass I guess.
