It sounded like a card flipping when I braked. Sometimes it only creaked and popped on hot days. But, here I caught it on camera while I was moving forward and moving the steering wheel when it was at its worst.
I had the control arms changed. The noise came back. I thought it might be the steering shaft.
Turns out it was my front suspension! Now it is fixed with no noise. It took a week for the new parts to settle in.
