This museum is a bunker from the communist era which has been converted .It is approximately 1,000m2 and is one of two nuclear bunker museums in Tirana. The bunker was hidden from the public eye until it was unveiled in 2015. it was secretly built between 1981 - 1986.
This was one of approximately 750, 000 bunkers which were built across the county as part of Enver Hoxha's 'bunker project.' This bunker unmasks the pathological isolation and paranoia created during Hoxha's 40 year dictatorship.
