Georgios recommends the course because it helped him learn how to advocate and negotiate effectively for refugee rights at the field level, the regional level, with ministries, the army, local authorities, relevant humanitarian actors, and migrant and refugee communities.
It gave him him a strong theoretical background of what humanitarian diplomacy is, and what it's elements are, including advocacy, policy analysis, framework analysis, and negotiations. He and his course colleagues had the chance to share professional experiences throughout the course and put their new skills into practice through group and individual exercises.
