A year ago we purchased an 1899 abandoned home with NO KITCHEN! After months of waiting for a $36,000 kitchen order for our dream kitchen we came to realize we no longer could live here with no kitchen since it was SO delayed with no ETA. The house didnt have a bad kitchen it had no kitchen since previous owners ripped it out. We decided to research and build our own DIY KITCHEN on a budget. We took half the deposit for the original kitchen order $5000 and set that as a goal budget to accomplish this dream space. It took us a few months and a lot of love but here we are standing in our dream kitchen. Best of all we stayed in budget spending $5125.00 total! (this budget even includes a pantry/laundry room we are working on off of this room!)
