In this video we have our YouTube debut from Dr. Fiona Durban, who is performing sublime skin contouring on our clinical manager, Mel Recchia.
Each eTwo treatment combines two individual techniques - Sublative Rejuvenation and Sublime Skin Contouring -- to give the skin an intense rejuvenating boost. Both techniques are performed, one after the other, at the same appointment.
Sublative Rejuvenation uses controlled pulses of radiofrequency energy to the surface and just under the surface of the skin to stimulate the fibroblasts to produce more collagen, which over time improves the skin's texture and tone. The surrounding tissue of the untreated areas supports and accelerates the healing process of the skin.
Sublime Skin Contouring uses a combination of radiofrequency and light energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, while protecting its surface. Medium to deep heating of the skin further stimulates the fibroblasts to increase collagen production, while at the same time tightening the skin's existing collagen fibres.
eTwo treatment is suitable for skin of any colour and has little down time. Most people will experience mild discomfort during the procedure, though topical numbing cream is used to minimise any discomfort.
For best results, it is recommended you have three treatments with one month between each.
You will probably experience some redness and swelling immediately after treatment that may last from hours up to a few days (in rare cases it can last up to a week or beyond, but this is very unusual). It is fine to apply make-up immediately after the procedure to conceal any redness.
In addition, tiny 'crusts' will gradually develop on any treated areas and remain for around 5-14 days, but these can also be camouflaged with make-up for the first couple of days while they are noticeable.
