Here's a more unusual 'also ran' set from 1981 which came in with deaf receive.

As usual, Mr Chippie drove along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. He stopped at the 5-mile point & we conducted a static test. Low power was 490mW on this set.

Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio we use in the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.
