Hey there! We're excited to announce that the first floor of the Morodok Techo Flyover officially opened on December 25, 2024!
This remarkable flyover is designed to alleviate traffic congestion, making life easier for commuters and providing significant economic benefits. Its modern and eye-catching design features a unique circular center, making it a standout structure on an international level.
Even better, the first floor is set to be completed ahead of schedule, with just 97 days remaining! Construction began on August 31, 2022, and the second floor began accommodating traffic on April 1, 2024, just in time for the Khmer New Year. We expect the first floor to be finished by February 2025 to ensure it is ready for the festivities!
You'll find the flyover at the Kbal Thanal intersection, perfectly located between the Chamkar Mon and Mean Chey districts. With its double-decker design, it is engineered to facilitate smooth traffic flow in four directions: Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard, Preah Monivong Bridge, Preah Monivong Boulevard, and Kang Yothpol Khemarak Phumin Boulevard.
This exciting project aims to ease traffic in Phnom Penh, especially as the city sees an increase in vehicles on the road. It represents a significant investment of over $36 million and was completed in just 36 months by OCIC.
The Morodok Techo Flyover marks a big step forward for tourism and traffic reduction, paving the way for smoother travel in the future.
