Today we celebrate 2 global periods of significance: International Day for Biological Diversity 2021 (IDBD) “We’re part of the solution” and the Caribbean Endemic Bird Festival 2021 (CEBF) “Sing, Fly, Soar—Like a Bird!”  

It's a great way to showcase the unique bird biodiversity in from our island Jamaica! Our museum endeavours to work closely with the coordinator's of this bird festival BirdsCaribbean to "raise awareness, promote sound science, and empower local partners to build a region where people appreciate, conserve and benefit from thriving bird populations and ecosystems."
