The Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve is a labyrinth of water and land listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.

We’ve had a great pleasure to spend a day with Safca Delta Tours ([ Ссылка ] ). This was a trip covering observing birds 🦢 on Danube delta , visiting the famous village Mila 23 and visiting Letea village 🌳 🐎. We’ve traveled with a speed boat 🚤 driven by amazing captain 👨‍✈️- Ciprian, who delivered us not only English guided tour but what has positively surprised us - the great atmosphere created by Ciprian.

In Mila 23 we have eaten great, traditional lunch at Pensiunea Marcov (which was the optional element of the trip, which you shouldn’t skip). There was a fish soup 🍲, grilled fish 🐟 with polenta (this one was looked so delicious and was so tasty so I’ve forgotten to record it 🤦‍♀️) accompanied by white wine and local tuica (vodca) with cake and coffee ☕️ as a dessert.

During the next stop we have decided to take part in “safari” in Letea village, during which we visited the Letea forest with moving dunes and could see famous wild horses 🐎 from a close distance.
