The coveted indoor riding arena--in colder climates equestrians find them at nearly every boarding barn but here in Virginia where are climate is a bit more temperate, they aren't as common. In this overview, I give a few reasons why that is and outline some of the variables for cost.
One thing is for certain, if you build an indoor arena, you will never lack for horse friends wanting to come over and ride with you!
