The delivery date of the ALTAY tank, the pride project of the Turkish defense industry, has finally been announced. According to the statement made by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tosyalı Holding and BMC at SAHA EXPO 2024, both the tank factory will be completed and the first ALTAY tanks will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces by the end of 2025.

Turkey will now have the tank engine technology that only 7 countries in the world can produce. The indigenous engine developed by BMC POWER is successfully undergoing difficult testing processes. Although Korean engines will be used in the first tanks, when the testing processes are completed, the engines will be completely domestic.

The ALTAY tank has been designed to meet all the requirements of the modern battlefield. Equipped with advanced electronic systems, satellite links and superior protection features, the tank is constantly being improved in line with feedback from the field.
