#1 Add the Second Color 0:04
This is a great way to save yourself time when airbrushing multiple colors and you don’t mind the first color mixing with the second color a little bit. I suggest going from light to a darker color so you use less product.
#2 Run Acetone Through the Airbrush 0:24
Running acetone through the airbrush twice is necessary to change colors or store the airbrush for a short period of time before the next use. Sometimes, there is some sputtering of gel right after cleaning so you may have to test spray on a paper towel before spraying onto the nail or tip to achieve even consistently of color/texture.
#3. Full Clean 0:36
Repeat the process from #2 (but run acetone through only once to loosen any stuck gel, especially if you didn’t clean the airbrush immediately after use). Take apart the airbrush and clean each part. Do not submerse the small bits in acetone or the rubber seal with break. Just wipe everything down. Once put back together, run one more cycle of acetone and wipe down the outside with alcohol. Now it’s ready to store until next use.
