The Mojito Criollo #2 was most probably created by bartender Constantino Ribalaigua Vert the head bartender at La Floridita Bar in Havana Cuba sometime in the mid 1930's. This particular expression of the Mojito was probably the one where topping the drink with a little soda water was invented although I don't know that for an absolute fact. That said, even in Cuba Mojitos are not typically topped with sparkling water. Hope you like this sort of winterized Mojito, hope you make it, love it and comment below! SEE YOU ON ANOTHER TIME!
P.S. I am fully, fully aware that I constantly and always pronounce Mr. Ribalaigua's name wrong EVERY TIME I do a video on his drinks. One Day I promise to get it right! 😂
