4,500-year-old highway lined with 18K ancient tombs discovered in Saudi Arabia.

The funerary avenue is hundreds, if not thousands, of kilometres long. It might possibly reach all the way to Yemen.

The path is lined by at least 18,000 graves, many of which are astonishingly well-preserved.

The next step will be to conduct further radiocarbon dating to understand more about the Bronze Age graves.

The more we learn about the ancient inhabitants of northwestern Arabia, the more motivated we are by how our purpose reflects their thinking.
