Operation Pocket Change was put together to rescue what were believed to be up to 30 American POWs being held in Laos years after the Vietnam War ended. The CIA, DIA and newly formed JSOC put together resources to locate the camp and confirm or deny the presence of American prisoners. After months of intelligence gathering and rehearsals by the Delta operators tasked with the raid, all parties awaited the green light to go in, and bring our boys home.
