The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development - KICD has once again defended itself against claims that it rushed the implementation of the new curriculum.
The institute's CEO says the Ministry of Education, and its stakeholders, have been working from 2015, and that the new system, who's pilot has now been rolled out country wide, is what the country's education sector needs.
At the same time, the institute says all schools should by now be in possession of the new textbooks needed to implement this system of learning.
