#Sufism known as tasawwuf in the Arabic-speaking world, is a form of #Islamic mysticism that emphasizes introspection and spiritual closeness with God. While it is sometimes misunderstood as a sect of Islam, it is actually a broader style of worship that transcends sects, directing followers' attention inward
The #Qadiriyya (Arabic: القادرية) are members of the Sunni Qadiri tariqa (Sufi order). The tariqa got its name from #Abdul_Qadir_Gilani (1077–1166, also transliterated Jilani), a Hanbali scholar from Gilan, Iran. The order relies strongly upon adherence to the fundamentals of Sunni Islamic law.
The Naqshbandi is a significant #Sunni order of Sufism. Its name is derived from Baha-ud-Din Naqshband Bukhari. Naqshbandi masters trace their lineage to the Islamic prophet Muhammad through Abu Bakr, the first Caliph of Sunni Islam, and Ali, the fourth Caliph of Sunni Islam.
The #Suhrawardi order arrived in India at the same time as Chistis, although it was most active in Punjab and Multan. Shihabuddin Suhrawardi found this Sisila in Baghdad, and Bahauddin Zakariya established it in India.
After the Concept of Wahdat-ul-Wajood spread among the Muslims and Liberal Shaykh Ahmed Sirhindi gave the concept of Waḥdat ash-Shuhūd (or wah-dat-ul-shuhud, wahdat-ul-shuhud, or wahdatulshuhud) has often been translated into English as Apparent. In Arabic, it literally means "unity of witness", "unity of perception", "unity of appearance" or "oneness of manifestation
