I wrote my MSc dissertation at Oxford on infidelity; here are three potential signs you’re getting cheated on you right now.
1. They’re protective over their technology. I’m not saying you should be allowed in your partner’s phone, that can be toxic, but if they never leave their phone out, they never plug into your car play, they close their laptop when they leave the room, they don’t let you use their phone even in a pinch to call somebody or whatever, that’s a clue they’re hiding something.
2. They’re newly concerned with their appearance. Looking good is more about mate attraction than retention, and so if they have an otherwise inexplicable new interest in their looks, that’s a clue that they might be trying to look good for someone new.
3. They don’t want to talk about someone. Oftentimes, if you’re getting cheated on, you know who you might be getting cheated on with. If you’ve got someone in mind, bring them up, and see if your partner wants to change the topic.
