I've been wanting to upgrade my Turnigy 9X stock firmware to er9x for a while. Most of the tutorials I've watched are overwhelming. The SmartieParts board makes this upgrade dead simple and solderless if you have a Generation 2 Turnigy 9X. This video talks you through the process of determining your 9X Generation.

Generation 2 users will have an easier time doing the upgrade, but it's not impossible with Gen 1. You just need to do a little bit of soldering. My SmartieParts board will be here this week and I'll walk you through the process of upgrade and firmware flash.
