Iranian officials say they successfully tested two long-range missiles Monday [September 28th] that defense analysts say could be capable of hitting Israel and southern Europe. Iran test fired short and medium range missiles on Sunday. The White House called the missile tests "provocative." Some Western defense analysts say at least one of the missiles is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. The two days of missile test fires come as Iranian officials prepare to hold talks with the United States and other world powers over Iran's nuclear activities at a meeting in Geneva Thursday. VOA's Chris Simkins has more on the story.
