✝️ How to be Saved ✝️
1. We’ve All Sinned
The Bible teaches that every single one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. Sin includes anything we think, say, or do that goes against God’s will. No one is exempt from this.
Romans 3:23 (NKJV): "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
2. Sin Has a Price
Because of our sins, we are guilty before God. The penalty for sin is death—not just physical death but spiritual separation from God for eternity. This is the consequence we all deserve.
Romans 6:23 (NKJV): "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
3. Jesus Paid the Price for Us
God loves us so much that He made a way for us to escape the punishment of sin. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place. Jesus took the punishment we deserve, and through His death and resurrection, He offers us forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift.
John 3:16 (NKJV): "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV): "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed."
4. Trust in Jesus for Salvation
It’s not enough to simply acknowledge that Jesus existed or that He was a good person. You must trust and believe that Jesus paid for your sins, accepting His free gift of salvation by faith. When you trust in Jesus, you can be completely confident that you will spend eternity in heaven, not because of anything you have done, but because of what He has done.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV): "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
Acts 16:31 (NKJV): "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
5. The Decision Is Yours
The question you must answer is: Will you trust in Jesus to save you, or will you reject Him? This is the most important decision of your life, and the Bible warns that no one knows when their life will end. Rejecting Jesus means facing God’s judgment and eternal punishment. But trusting in Jesus guarantees eternal life in heaven.
John 14:6 (NKJV): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Hebrews 9:27 (NKJV): "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."
6. Living a Changed Life for Christ
When you trust in Jesus, your life will change. Out of gratitude for what He has done, you’ll want to live in a way that pleases God. It may be hard at times, and others might mock you for your faith, but the promise of eternal life far outweighs any challenges you’ll face. Following Jesus is a lifelong journey.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV): "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Ways to Grow as a Christian:
1. Read the Bible Daily
God’s Word is essential for your spiritual growth. Start by reading the Book of John in the New Testament to learn more about who Jesus is and what He has done for you. You can download a Bible for free by searching for Bibles in your app store.
Psalm 119:105 (NKJV): "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
2. Pray Regularly
Prayer is simply talking to God. Thank Him for what He’s done, confess your sins, and ask for His help in your daily life. You can pray at any time, in any place, either aloud or silently in your heart.
Philippians 4:6 (NKJV): "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
3. Find a Good Church
Being part of a community of believers is important for your growth. Find a church that faithfully teaches the Bible. Pray for God to lead you in this, then search for one. You can leave me a comment, and I'll help you find one if you need help.
Hebrews 10:25 (NKJV): "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
4. Share Your Faith
Tell others about what Jesus has done for you. Share the good news so that they, too, can experience salvation. You can start by passing on this message or sharing resources like tracts.
Matthew 28:19 (NKJV): "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
