✍ So much for “party unity.” Senator Elizabeth Warren refused to shake Bernie Sanders’ hand after the first Democratic primary debate of 2020 in Iowa. The snub was especially glaring because Warren enthusiastically shook the hand of frontrunner Joe Biden and all her other rivals. The awkward encounter was captured on video. After Warren shakes Biden’s hand, she walks over to Sanders’ podium, where he extends a hand like a good sport. Instead of shaking Bernie’s hand, Warren recoils and clutches both her hands close to her chest in an obvious rebuff. Bernie then gets animated as the two exchange words before he walks off, leaving Fauxcohontas in the dust.
