North Goa is pretty famous, or even notorious, for its party scene in India where both foreign and Indian tourists alike head for cheap alcohol and parties. But since our Finnish-Indian family vacation in Goa also included a small toddler, we weren't really up for drinking and partying per se. Nevertheless, we did want to have a fun night out too and show my sister a great time at Goa's popular night markets that you can't really find elsewhere in India. Unfortunately the original Saturday Night Market in Arpora has been shut down since our last visit and we were told to avoid the New Saturday Night Market, so we headed to the Hilltop Friday Night Market in Vagator. Whether you want to party or not, or are travelling with kids or elderly family, if you want to have a good time with shopping, food, music and chill vibes in North Goa, this night market is a must visit!

› ABOUT ME
My name is Johanna North. I’m a Finnish woman travelling in India since 2016. In 2019 I married my Indian husband and we moved to the state of Kerala in southern India, where we are still living. In 2021 we welcomed our baby girl into this world. On this channel I share videos on blending our Finnish-Indian family life, culture, food and travel mostly in India, and sometimes in Finland too.
