In spite of recent advances, conversational AI still suffers from racial biases. What effect does AI-mediated racial discrimination have on us? And what might we do to stop it? Kimi is a social technologist and PhD student at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Her work focuses on measuring and mitigating bias in language technology.
