ARTTALK: Filmic Dialogue with Yunjoo Kwak, Igor Sevcuk and The Otolith Collective

Upon the invitation of The Otolith Collective(Kodwo Eshun and Anjalika Sagar), Yunjoo Kwak was recently invited to participate in a residency programme in London, this ARTTALK presents the first UK film screening of works that have arisen from the project. Through the presentation of these experimental films Kwak and her artist friend Igor Sevcuk interrelated their filmic practices on a range of different topics including ideology, displacement, self-exile, testimony, violence, and collective memory. After the screening a discussion was held between the artists, moderated by The Otolith Collective.

Using recent exhibitions and residency programmes in the UK as a backdrop featured artists, curators, and critics of international standing offer audiences an extended opportunity to learn more about Korea's art scene right in the heart of London.
