Link Aggregation Control Protocol is a useful feature for creating dynamic port groupings or Aggregate Groups. Aggregate Groups increase traffic throughput and provide link redundancy. In deployments where uptime is critical, Two firewalls deployed in a High Availability (HA) configuration are essential. Aggregate Groups can further increase reliability and uptime by allowing the Primary firewall to remain Active despite the failure of a link within an Aggregate Group.
