Cheering crowds gathered on Saturday, November 19, to greet the first train to arrive in Kherson from Kyiv since Russian troops left the city.
On November 17, Ukraine Railways announced services to the eastern city would resume for the first time since the Russian invasion.
A train left Kyiv the following day and arrived in Kherson on November 19.
Footage shows the train arriving at Kherson’s main station as people waving national flags gathered to watch on platforms and a pedestrian bridge.
