Unboxing the HMD Fusion, a new modular Android smartphone from the Nokia manufacturer boasting upgradeable 'outfits' (like Moto Mods). This hands-on review of the HMD Fusion shows off the Flashy outfit as well as the camera tech, gaming performance and beyond.
This phone boasts the usual benefits including repairability, a stock Android experience and that lovely budget price. However, for a cost under £200 in the UK, expect some compromises. The HMD Fusion's gaming abilities are limited, for instance, so you'll want to look elsewhere for some Genshin Impact etc. Likewise, this smartphone's camera is quite basic, especially in low light and HDR situations.
Battery life is a winner however and the HMD Fusion also boasts that killer feature - the Outfit. Through some rear connector pins, this phone can have a new jacket slapped on which boosts the battery, adds gaming controls etc. Here's a review of the Flashy outfit, which adds a ring light to your HMD Fusion for selfies, vlogging etc.
So what do you think of this budget HMD phone? Let us know your thoughts on the Fusion below!
