Minsk’s metro has served the capital of Belarus since June 1984. When we visited it had two lines (Maskoŭskaja/Moscowskaya line and Aŭtazavodskaja/Avtozavodskaya line. A third has since opened, forming a typical Soviet-style triangular formation of lines in the city centre.
