Early Saturday morning, the Sabarmati Express derailed near Govindpuri station in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh after the engine struck an object placed on the track. The incident, which occurred around 2:35 AM, resulted in the derailment of 20 coaches of the Varanasi-Ahmedabad train. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
