Confused about how to use your countertop compost container?
Using a liner is optional. Consider placing food scraps loose in your organics container or use a paper bag. But we understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea leaves (which, are totally compostable!).
That being said, plastic and bioplastic “compostable” bags are accepted in your organics container, but must be CLEAR or translucent-green, and bag contents must be visible. Although we “accept” the plastic and bioplastic bags, that the contents will be removed and the bags will not be recycled or composted.
