The ‘Futures We Want’ project brings together academics, business, government and citizens to look at innovations and approaches that can deliver a climate-resilient, globally net-zero future that is both feasible and desirable. The recording of this event was kindly provided by Deloitte.
As part of this project, six groups of academic experts created reports on their region’s possible futures. They then asked six groups of citizens in those regions to share their hopes and ideas based on those reports. This is how the visions came to be.
Each vision focuses on a different region: the Arabian Peninsula, Brazil, India, Jamaica, Kenya and the UK. Together, the regions represent the diversity of challenges and opportunities ahead: [ Ссылка ]
In this presentation at the 2021 Climate Change Festival, Dr Siobhan Gardiner from Deloitte's ESG advisory team, and Dr Amy Munro-Faure of Cambridge Zero shared how the Visions were created; why it’s important that science, business and government work together; and what opportunities these visions present for business.
