In single player Ark Survival Evolved games, there is a setting that displays the damage you and you tames are doing, as well as the damage being done to them. These floating damage text numbers are very useful in make an assessment of you dinos damage, and armor. During large battles, your fps may drop due to the large amount of numbers popping up. To toggle damage numbers on and off check the Advanced tab in the singleplayer settings menu, and scroll down, almost to the bottom. There you will see a check box to turn floating damage number text on and off.
