Quick update to the *visual* air quality on the S.F. Peninsula. It is much improved, but the latest is that Sonoma is under new mandatory evacuations, in part, due to high winds.
The high winds also impacted maximum altitude of this flight. Station keeping was draining battery much faster at the initial 1000 feet ASL I started at, so I had to drop to 750, then 600.
Keep the people in the middle of these fires, and the firefighters, in your prayers and thoughts, do what you can to help, and keep out of the area. They DO NOT need 'disaster tourism'.
