The Mumbai CSMT – Hingoli Deccan Jan Shatabdi is a day train (as it returns to the station of origin on the same day). It connects the historical city of Aurangabad to the state capital Mumbai though the actual origination station was extended to Jalna in August 2015 & now extended upto Hingoli Deccan on 9 March 2024 ; 32 days ago. But it also stops at Kasara and Igatpuri as operational stops.
On the return journey the train is numbered 12071 and departs from Dadar at 1400 hrs and arrives at Jalna at 2140 hrs.
The Hingoli Jan shatabdi is a 22 coach train and has 18 Jan shatabdi class chair cars, two AC chair car and 2 luggage-cum-brake vans as part of its seating configuration.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (officially Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus since 2017, formerly Victoria Terminus (VT), Bombay station code: CSMT (mainline)/ST (suburban)), is a historic railway terminus and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
The terminus was designed by a British architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens from an initial design by Axel Haig, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style. Its construction began in 1878, in a location south of the old Bori Bunder railway station, and was completed in 1887, the year marking 50 years of Queen Victoria's rule.
Inside Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, 2022
In March 1996, the station's name was changed from Victoria Terminus to "Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus" (with station code CST) after Shivaji, the 17th-century warrior king and the first Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire who founded the state in the western Marathi-speaking regions of the Deccan Plateau.
In 2017, the station was again renamed "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus" (with code CSMT), where the title Maharaj has literal meaning, "Great king; emperor." Both former initials "VT" and the current, "CST", are also commonly used.
The terminus is the headquarters of India's Central Railway. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India, serving as a terminal for both long-distance and suburban trains with a total number of 18 platforms.
The station has been the location of filming the "Jai Ho" song in Slumdog Millionaire and the 2011 Indian film Ra.One.
