In this video we look at the first steps in getting your Radio Controlled plane ready for it's maiden flight. By the end of this video we will have our transmitter set up, the receiver bound, failsafe set, and the everything plugged in to the model. This may sound unfamiliar, but hopefully by the end of the video you will have an understanding of what all this means.
Don't worry, there is a lot of new information in the beginning. But you soon learn what everything means and does. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. I'm happy to make more videos on individual aspects of the hobby for beginners; if it helps them to understand more. That's why we do this, not just RC people on YouTube, but in general. We love to fly, and love to help new folks get in to the hobby.
In the next video in the series, we will finish up the build. This means checking throws and setting rates and expo. Again, don't worry about these terms. I briefly cover them in this video. But in the next video, I'll have more depth and explain how to set everything up.
