Honestly one of the best upgrades as a setter I’ve done in ages! Busch short carbide twist drills 4205S are absolutely money! With a quick polish on the yellow wheels the cut like butter. They’re expensive and break super easy if you’re not controlled, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re not using scope, but game changer if you are. Under 0.8. I still use steel though as it’s just too easy to break.
Even in platinum, it speeds up drilling process by double or triple, and considering some pieces I work on have hundreds of stones they pay themselves off fast!
