My 2nd race at a WERA event. Still struggling with the subtle differences of their starts versus CMRA and starting from the back, whereas I normally start from the 1st row.
Had major traction issues during the Friday and Saturday practices, finally stuck on some new rubber for the races and slowly built up my confidence to drop 7 seconds by the 3rd race.
About 35 seconds into the race, you'll see #646 get taken about by #772, who went right into his line, seemingly not even planning to turn. #646's front end appears to hit the rear of the other rider's bike and put him on the ground quick. #646 was unhurt but could not finish the race while #772 went on to win the race. As always, seeing stuff like that caused me to lose focus and I was sure the race would get red-flagged.
