The Victoreen 450P is an auto-ranging ion chamber radiation survey meter that utilizes a pressurized ionization chamber sensitive to X-ray and gamma sources. Lightweight and frankly flimsy. You will see many of these for sale with broken handles, cases and screens. Operates on two 9V batteries connected parallel inside the handle held in with pins.
