Many film actors like Ramya Nambeeshan also shared similar posts criticising the jury for disregarding his performance by not giving any accolades. Indrans, meanwhile, told the media that he was not unhappy that he did not receive the award. Indrans said he was happy that his close friends and a bunch of good films won the award this time. Prior to the announcement of the Award, he had made it clear that he will not be disappointed if he does not win the award as he had already won people’s hearts through his performance in the hit film.
